It was okay but my croque florentine was reheated so the inside was soggy and the outside was solid. We had to reorder a croissant because the server said we hadn't ordered one, but the person behind us in the queue said she'd heard us. She also had to repeat her order. The hot chocolate was nice though.
The quality is acceptable but not as good as my last visit. I tried flat white which was just ok, nothing special. I only can recommend them if you are looking for a great hot chocolate!
Hot chocolates here are really good, like halfway between the thick continental stuff and the normal British stuff
Decent coffee and cake, couldn't cope with takeaway and eat-in purchases, tried to charge a box of cakes as eat-in, when my only eat-in item was an espresso.
A great place for a breakfast if you're willing to pay up for it. Quite expensive, but the sandwiches are to die for and in the morning with the right coffee managed to brighten up your day. There is some seating on the 2nd floor, however it gets very busy and finding a place to sit turns from a race to a challenge to an impossibility during peak hours. I recommend coming in during proper lunch hours as then people tend to go to restaurants instead of caff, so you'll have a chance to find a place. Good luck, guys!
