I was satisfied with the their work although I had to wait for before being worked on. The lady basically rescued my hair after it had been miss-managed by another hair dresser. Loved your work Christine n I come back again !
Ada is lovely and very helpful, however, my over all experience of the salon is scamming and bad customer service - particularly from the owner Vanessa. I now wouldnt go in for anything other than hair products but can usually get them online.
Dear owner.You obviously read and comment on these posts from time to time. I am so unhappy and annoyed with the lady running your shop. Today my daughter drove from Witney, to your shop in Cowley. With her sick 4 year old that was sent home from school. When she got there your assistant refused to help her. After your assistant asked to drive to the shop to talk to her. Knowing full well that she wasn't going to help her. All my daughter wanted was a copy VAT receipt or your VAT number. The lady running the shop said" I wanted you to come so I could tell you to your face tat you can't have it". I have no idea why she would do that?. A VAT receipt is a requirement by law. I know because I am VAT registered. Unless you are trading below the VAT threshold. In which case it's simple matter of saying "We are not VAT registered". Which your shop assistant refused to do. Why I have no idea. I would be thankful if you could try to ease this completely unnecessary situation by simply giving me you Vat number.This situation was totally brought about by your incompetent, unhelpful, rude and inept member of staff, or management running your store.It is easy to see looking back at your reviews that you have a problem.I urge you to sort it out for my daughter in this case. Who drove all the way to Cowley upon the request of the lady working today, Friday 2nd November, with her sick young child on her only day off. It's not much to ask. Is it? A VAT number?Neilson
This is actually no stars.This salon is dirty and unprofessional.The main hairdresser, Vanessa is very, very rude, in fact I have never ever seen or heard such a disgruntled, bitter, complaining, individual in my entire life, I have no idea, why she is in this industry at all?The reviews speak for themselves in honesty and clarity, in fact they put across the facts mildly, the reality is far worse! Don't worry Oxford, change is coming and it can't come soon enough for all of us long suffering customers who have had no choice but to subject ourselves to the rudeness, overpriced and unprofessionalism of this establishment! I hope people read all these reviews before subjecting themselves to the absolute horrors that are charged from within these four walls.
Absolutely agree with all the reviews here. I had a terrible experience with this hair salon. I once asked them to rinse off the relaxer on my hair and left the salon as I knew they were ruining my hair. I never returned since. Very unprofessional, they gossip all the time, downright rude, give off unprofessional vibes from the way the salon is to the way they talk to each other and customers to the way they carry themselves, etc. Advise to the owner: instead of replying to reviews saying god bless, our clients love us etc etc, take a moment to digest what all these reviews are telling you. Make small but manageable improvements. All these reviews cant be wrong. One day a alternative hairdresser may open, do you really want all your customers to disappear over night? Nothing is forever and it wont be long before a business savvy investor realised the gap in the market and opens a good alternative to your salon.
