As you walk in youre greeted by a nice breeze of air-conditioned air, perfect for those warmer days. The shop is neatly organised and coherently laid out. The books I was after could be found down a couple flights of stairs. There is clearly a lot of time and thought put into the organisation and the structure of the actual texts themselves and the information is easy to understand. As a student I am entitled to approx. a 20% discount on all books which is a great incentive. Staff at the til were helpful and friendly. I would recommend this shop to a friend.

The lady that rang me up at the shop left the security sensor on the beanie I bought. It did not set an alarm off whe I walked out and I did not notice it until I got back to my hotel in London, over an hour away. It is tucked inside the beanie, so it is not clearly visible. Before that, she forgot to hand me the bag of items I bought. The beanie was expensive as is everything in the store. Buyer beware of nitwit sales clerks! Check your meechandise before leaving! I have no idea how I am going to get this security sensor off!!

This bookshop is very clean and quiet. Its definitely a good place to sit and read a book. There are many different choices of book to choose from.

Visiting this shop was a real highlight of our trip to Oxford. Looking at the vast amount of curated thought that is captured through the publications of the University Press gave me insight into why Oxford University is such a cornerstone of western civilization. Books across the academic spectrum are available and the staff is both kind and helpful. Go with an open mind and be surprised at what you find.

Perfect place to get some really good books!
