Diabolical! I would like to give it minus stars actually. We arrived in good time to bowl but had to queue for 30 mins, and then wait another 10 minutes to get the lane. Then we queued again for food and waited 50 minutes for nachos and chips! We had booked the lane for 3pm and we started bowling at 3.50pm.They are so short staffed, it is absolutely chaotic. I really feel sorry for the staff as they were trying their best. There was a long queue and lots of people waiting to complain!Our lane stopped a few times but it isn't the first time that's happened, as last time we went bowling with friends, the lane kept stopping. We had to stop the entire game with our friends half way through but they did offer free games to us.The food is okay, but very over priced and so is the bowling. The toilets really need to be sorted too. There are very few locks and it's filthy in the ladies. Everything needs a clean. We live round the corner and we like our bowling, but we will not be going bowling here again.
Absolute joke!!! We booked a lane for 1 game and was told that our lane was given to someone else! We had to wait an hour before we could get our lane and then it didnt work for another half hour! We went to try and get food during the hour wait, but was told there would be a 45 minute wait...for a portion of chips! If the option to give 0 stars was available, thats definitely what I would be leaving
Booking went wrong on-line at payment point - got the 'oops sorry' message and did it again successfully. Arrived and quickly signed in which was good. Went to get drinks - coffee machine broken. Allocated Lane 1 - right outside the entrance to the toilets which absolutely reeked of urine - got moved to a VIP lane - thank you - bowling was great. Went to the loo at the end and could barely breathe the smell was so bad. I don't end to exaggerate - they should close the place and sort out the hygiene.
This place is AWESOME - but not cheap. I would say mid-range. But going in a group, and joining the club does allow you 50% off your second visit. Beers are average price, and the food isn't so great. But its not meant to be a place to eat.
Booked this with an expectation of price reduction offer only to find the advertisement wasn't exactly all it seemed. Still went along - it was our holiday treat.Made a complaint was given two free game vouchers for another time. Actual game was fun - and when the lane malfunctioned we were moved to the VIP lane which had the most comfy seats ever. Lots of other activities on offer - we played pool and air hockey. Great for a few hours of holiday fun.
