Great team, and was able to diagnose and repair my car within 2 hours
RAC recovered my vehicle to Air Cooled Engineering when the alternator died. Garage found time to get it fixed on a busy morning and for a good price. Really impressed with the service I received.
I was told by my old garage that I would need a new clutch and some other replacement parts. I called two other garages, getting 3 quotes in all. Air Cooled gave the best price by a long shot. They also booked me in for the next day and completed the work, as promised. I cannot understand the two poor reviews on here; they certainly do not reflect my own experience at all.
Cowboys and bad customer service!Went there to have my vehicle air con fixed and came out after spending over 450 with no results. Air conditioning is the same as before.Paid over 50 for the diagnostics, was told the compressor needs changing. Once I had the compressor changed, air con was still not working and was told need to make appointment for a further check. This time I was told there is a leak in the vacuam. They told me they have sealed the leak, but again I went away and the air con was still blowing hot air. Went back third time they told they carried out another diagnostic and check and the condenser seems to be the problem. They told me to change the condenser, it will cost me another 270. So in all they wanted to con me out of almost a 1000 to fix the air con. After that I never went back.Lesson here is always get 2 or 3 opinions before just going for the first option, otherwise you can be hustled by garages like these.Beware of people like this!!
