I would definitely recommend Halfords Autocentre, they did a very good job and are really friendly. I feel I can trust them to do a good job and theyre honest- they wont rip you off. They had next day availability and fixed my car without a fuss.I will definitely be using them again in the future.
Tyre Service is fast and good, although they made a mess on the rim, but the tyres have been fitted nicely and tried to solve the service alert. will go there again. nice staff in there
Recently took my car in for a service, which was completed satisfactoryly despite the usual hard sell of fuel cleaning and similar products. The real reason for this poor review though is based on the recommendations I received after the service. I was quoted as needing front discs and pads and rear pads with them being worn close to manufacturer specifications. I decided to get a second opinion and went to another garage closer to me who where pretty surprised to find my front discs looked like new and rear pads where barely worn. Wont be returning to this Halfords branch.
Been here twice - the first time (Mar 2018) the guys seemed overworked and found it difficult to pin down a time for the job to be done - I think this was more Halfords' fault as they seemed to have too much booked in. Second time (Nov 2018) was perfect - job started immediately, finished within specified time, and good recommendation for the cafe down the road. If they continue to do it like the 2nd time more often, then expect the full 5 stars!
Had driven 600 miles when my headlights failed. Managed to find this branch of Halfords and they were so helpful. Got me back on the road safely within minutes at a keen rate. Highly recommended
