Proper Moody geezers on the phones

The person that gave this a 4* review should be removed. I do not believe he is a born and bred Oxford citizen. Unfair for him to provide a high rating. To be continued.........

So bad I dont know another organisation with 1 star on google so its clearly one of the most dysfunctional in the country and its responsible for childrens welfare, mental heath support, housing, its spine chilling. I genuinely believe the kids at the local secondary school would do a better job and cause less misery for thousands. A truly awful organisation I pay 180 a month council tax for a one bed flat and when I asked them to re-evaluate and or justify a break down using 1991 valuation system i found that my one bed would have to be worth over 90,000 in 1991 they refused to help and said it was on me to prove. They evict people from unsafe housing to throw them on the streets which is statistically far more dangerous. Oxford needs saving from these corrupt pirates void of empathy.

People at the council are rude, they won't tell you what your options for housing assistance are, they tell you what documents you bring and when you show up with all of them they simply tell you "we don't have the duty to house you". Very unhelpful, unprofessional and annoying.

Theis council should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. They look to have been established to make sure and ruin your visit to Oxford. Made the mistake of driving into a car park, where my registration was scanned and it appears that you pick your place of parking and pay when you leave. I checked the hourly rates at the machine and thought I understood the process, only to return to my car and find a penalty fine stuck to the windscreen for 50 and that will rise to 100. I looked around to see the car park full of these penalty fines stuck on windscreens. I went to the machine and entered my reg no., so I could leave. There are no signs giving fair warning to pay and display. I didn't notice any on entry to the car park or near the machine. If there was a sign, it must have been in small print and the majority of users must have been as dumb as me to miss it. I don't think we're all that stupid. This is a total tourist trap to stitch up unwitting visitors to the city. It has really left a bad taste in my mouth and I'll never set foot in the city again. Racketeering is the best description of what the council are doing and it is really disgusting behaviour .
