I love this place, really friendly stylists who consistently deliver exactly what I'm looking for. I always walk out happy and with the biggest smile on my face!
Not okay for the price.I came in to get my hair dyed and was told, only after asking about drying, it also required a compulsory dry and style that I didn't want for 40 more which is not indicated in the online pricing list. I've never encountered this forced hidden cost price structure anywhere else, but I needed to get it dyed that day so I agreed. In retrospect a huge mistake because the end result was unacceptable for the increased cost.I was left with noticeable dye marks on my face and neck because no protectant was used on my skin and the dye was left to develop fully before attempts were even made to remove it. Then the compulsory 40 waves styled into my hair vanished within two minutes of walking out the door, and not due to weather or any natural tendency of my hair which usually holds curls very well. Finally the last straw was that as I paid for my 100 disappointing service the women who was at the till was condescending and didn't even pretend to address my dissatisfaction.For me personally the colour itself was fine but overall the result wasn't any better than when I dyed my hair myself when I was 17. Won't make the mistake of returning, every other salon I've ever been to has offered a better service for about half the cost.
I was nervous and hate getting my haircut, but had heard electric had good reviews so booked with Ruby.. I arrived an feeling anxious, worried and thinking shall I turn around ? the girls put me at ease right away, I was offered a drink and shown to a chair for a chat/consultation with Ruby.. she asked all the right questions and helped me decide on how to choose a cut that would suit me and help with the condition of my hair. After a fabulous wash and relaxing head massage, I was shown back to the chair with Ruby, she talked through everything she was doing and really helped me feel at ease ! I honestly felt relaxed and happy to be in the salon, its cool relaxed and welcoming. I rebooked for 6 weeks and walked away feeling amazing ! Best hairdressers in Oxford by far ! Great experience and great staff
I had a haircut today done by Lucy. Both her and the girl that washed my hair were so easy to talk to. My haircut is amazing and I got my hair styled in waves for the first time! Big thank you to Lucy for that. Will definitely come back!
I had a restyle last Thursday (19/4/18) the whole experience from booking the appointment on the phone, to the cut itself was outstanding. Ruby cut my hair and was friendly and professional, talking through all the steps (I have bad experiences in other salons) I was totally put at ease and loved the end result - magician with those scissors! Most definitely my go to from now on. Thank you so much. xox
