Varied menu, really good quality tasty food and attentive service. Large log fire by the bar and a series of little open dining rooms made for cosy atmosphere and ambient setting. Hope to come back soon!

A very excellent pub restaurant attentive staff good service Good Food. the only reason I don't give it 5 Stars is because there are better restaurants out there. I think it's unlikely you'll be disappointed.
My mother chose this gastropub for her birthday having been here a few months before. We left very disappointed. The quality had dipped considerably and given the price point we found this unacceptable. The food was served warm at best and there were some unsuccessful concoctions on our plates. The staff struggled to converse in English and were not warm or welcoming. We are averse to complaining, but we did given the special occasion and the fact not one of us had a good meal. We feel sad that we so infrequently see one another as a family and this occasion was fell so far short of its previous reputation. We hear there had been a change in staff.
Am awesome place. Have visited several times over the past 15 years and never been disappointed. Everything on the menu is so well thought out and tasty. Not cheap, but worth every penny
