Joes is popular and rightly so. The casual drop in ambiance with a stylish musical theme decor mixes well with the area and you always feel a bit special afterwards. As well as full menu, they offer a few daily lunch time specials, but be quick, they are so deliciously popular they run out quickly. I must congratulate the chef for one of the best side salads I have received. All too often you receive a few lettuce leaves with the odd tomato and little or no dressing. The one I just enjoyed was a real cornucopia of healthy greens, reds and yellows. Probably the best side salad I have received at a restaurant. Complete with a light mustard seed dressing, it was perfect. Thank you to all the staff for a lunch time special.
Enjoyed a lovely lunch here. Classic British food including bangers and mash, fish and chips, burgers etc. Food of highest and freshest quality. The style of the establishment is very unique yet classy, and makes you feel right at home. Wall decorations range from guitars to pictures, old radios to Betty boop. Wonderful place to spend lunch or dinner, I will definitely be visiting again.

Excellent place to eat. Had dinner there 3 of the 4 nights we stayed in town. Had the Herb Crusted Cod, the best meal I've ever had in any restaurant. My husband had the Sirloin, and he is very fussy about his steaks, he absolutely loved it, cooked to perfection.Would recommend this place to anyone and if we are ever back in Oxfordshire again, we will definitely come back..
