Why summer town health centre receptionists are so rude, not friendly and spend time gossiping with each other?????? I need to see my doctor but receptionists put me off seeing my doctor.

Every time when I coming to do blood test, nurse use dry cotton to clean skin before injuction. Always I must asked of disinfection skin before . This time was the same. When I asked nurse of it she looked at me like I have said something weird and then she dug very strongly needle in my arm, then immediately I felt extremely pain. She saw I endured but she didn't stopped and she was continuing with sick satisfaction blood test. On my sign of pain she threw fault on alcohol which she used for disinfection....I am sure she did it with premeditation. I had many blood tests and I have never felt that strong pain like today. It was the most hurtest injuction which I have ever had. I think it is time to change health centre.Keep away from this "health" centre as much as you can.

The Physicians are nice and seem very caring, but, the administration seems chaotic. Everytime I need anything, whether I have a question for my physician or need a perscription refill, there is an endless battle. To get anything done there is a struggle. Very time consuming and it does not seem that the team communicates well with each other.

I registered as a temporary patient as I was only in the area for 4 weeks. I needed an appointment and they said they'd call me to arrange one rather than having to wait a week until the next available appointment. They never did. When I called back an incredibly rude receptionist told me my temporary registration had run out. So disorganised and unnecessarily rude.

The main GP has horrible bedside manner. He was arrogant and seemed to relish in the power of not referring people. He has a "convince me" attitude and seems to hate his job. I would recommend that you avoid this practice at all costs unless you want to leave feeling helpless and like you weren't cared for.
