I twice went to other bed shops, but ended up buying at Minty.It's a little disorganised, so not everything has a price label and there are random things "out the back", but they had a good range to choose from, with reasonable prices.The staff are friendly (and I enjoyed their gentle humour). Recommended.
Ordered and paid in advance for a bed base, mattress, and assembly (with delivery 4-6 weeks). After six weeks rang and was told it would be another week (with no apology). When finally delivered (after seven weeks), delivery men arrived unprepared to assemble. I rang Minty to complain and an extremely rude woman (who claimed to be the manager) accused me of putting the phone down on her, then rang 2/3 from different numbers to shout at me for putting the phone down. The mattress doesnt fit the base so I wrote to to the company director, Charles Minty to complain. I received an email from them refusing to replace it, saying theyd delivered the right mattress with no apology. If you want a new bed, go elsewhere!
I ordered a bed. Minty failed to supply on time. I asked for refund after a long discussion they did not refund but issued a credit note and told me i can use it whenever i like it. I purchased one item and remaining 210. on credit note. When i visited to order mattress today and asked to use my credit note and they refused to use my credit note. They have in their file. Now boss said he can not use credit note because it is two years old.They kept my money for so long and at the end refused to allow me to purchase anything. It is ridiculous ,unfair and against the law of trading standard.I do not know how do they do business if they do like this.Now I can go to small claim court order to recover my money.I am also going to complain trading standardPlease do not purchase from this shop. If you still want to buy then never pay by cash or debit card use only Master card or credit card.so you can protect your money.
Great service. Really recommend that you visit the store if you're in the market for new bed (s) or mattresses.
