Over optimistic on price but thereafter swift to prod the market. Very attentive and responsive. A courteous and candid team. A good experience.
The experience has been very good indeed. Alice Murch has guided us through this and she has been very proactive to get a quick sale. She always gets back to you quickly and is very reliable indeed which has taken a lot of anxiety out of the house sale. In addition, when she has been out of office, other members of the team have been very helpful too and always passed on messages to her.
Having accepted an offer on my house in September I have been looking for a new home since then. Scott Fraser have been working hard - especially Alice. She has accompanied me to a number of viewings and discussed my wish-list. I haven't yet reached anything like 34 viewings before finding an ideal home (the record held by a friend who moved to Oxford in 1986!) but even so Alice has smiled through all the discussions about garden size, tables in kitchens and most recently Leylandii hedges as high as the house.
I am really pleased with Scott Fraser's service and especially with Zoe Warwick who was my agent and who helped me find a lovely flat to rent. Zoe acted in a highly professional capacity: she responded to my numerous emails in a timely manner and was very knowledgeable about the different properties that we viewed together. She went out of her way to make sure I was happy with the property I finally chose, and helped with the quick preparation of all necessary documents. Zoe is also very friendly and helpful, a huge asset to the company, I'm sure. Great service and great properties; I would definitely recommend Scott Fraser's Summertown office most highly.
I went to Scott Fraser because the first agent that I had chosen failed to sell my house after 3 months, despite many viewings. Scott Fraser were excellent, really proactive and much more selective in identifying those potential buyers who were seriously interested. The result was that I had offers from two separate couples within four weeks, the second of whom have bought my house at a price that was within my target range.
