Spent a nice evening at the Parsonage Grill. Warm friendly welcome upon arrival. Menu choices were good, although I felt the starters were designed for speed rather than enjoyment. The restaurant dcor is very classic and service was up to scratch. Oxford City seems to lack high end restaurants and the Parsonage Grill would appear to be about as close as it gets.

Great restaurant with nice atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food. Tried the duck leg and it was extraordinary! will come back again.

Staff very friendly and helpful, food good. We had a nice evening with a small group from work.

The best eggs Benedict I've had anywhere. It's my go-to dish, and here it's served very simply yet so incredibly delicious. There's nothing like it back home in Toronto. I'll deeply miss them.Extending the thought, Parsonage Grill has some of the best breakfast I've had overall; bread is crisp and fresh, eggs are beautifully dark and rich, and the coffee (perhaps too) strong. I had a very refreshing and tasty kale smoothie to get my kick of greens in the morning. For lunch, I had a game suet pudding that was very hearty. While I cleaned my plate, the favourite goes to breakfast. I'll note lunch required a lengthy wait of about 50 minutes to arrive at my table during half occupancy, but I can't dock marks for that at this point.

Disappointing Sunday roast experience for a place that has really great reviews. Perhaps it was an off day? The Yorkshire pudding was very dry and the lamb was mostly gristle. The service was also not great. Pretty slow, despite not being very busy. We ordered the roast beef cooked to temperature, and the servers brought out the incorrect order. Rather than immediately fixing the issue, the servers instead insisted that the beef wasn't well done. After some discussion, we finally got the beef as we had ordered. They also gave us vodka and tonic instead of the gin that we ordered. Overall not a great experience
