It's shocking to me that this place is so well reviewed. I will concede that it's cheap, and the interior is shabby chic, but the food and drinks are terrible. Flavorless food that the Spanish would be ashamed to put their name to. Syrupy sangria that would induce instant diabities, which when we sent back, 2 people separately came over us to say "it's supposed to be sweet." Well not that sweet, and arguing with a customer is never a great strategy.
I visited Kazbar for the 3rd time on Saturday and I can honestly say that I enjoy it more and more every time I go! The food is amazing and there is such a variety on the menu, so it really does cater for all. The manager, Fabio, was so welcoming and extremely friendly and him and all of the staff were extremely attentive throughout our meal, they couldn't do enough to make sure that we were happy and having an enjoyable evening! So, if you're in Oxford and are looking for a unique and tasty dining experience then I cannot recommend Kazbar enough...you will not be disappointed! I cannot wait to return!

Great place when you can get a seat. Usually very busy especially in the summer months. Great beer, big bottles of Mahou. Not tried the food yet but will at some point. Great atmosphere with very friendly staff.
Great restaurant with delicious food and cocktails and a lovely, friendly service. The decor is lovely as you forget where you really are and feel like youve gone on holiday to Northern Africa.
