Badly place. Dirty floor. The shower cabins missing the shelfs. The shampoo and soap you need keep on the dirty floor. The shower svich off every one minute. Very cold. The steam room does not working and probably won't be working!!! Jacuzzi past away.
This place must have a very young manager to have so little responsibility. One thing is to not be able to fix a Jacuzzi after 6 months, another is to keep listing it as a predominant feature in the instagram bio. Full of people in the cold sauna wondering why it's always switched off and discussing what's going wrong in at the gym.A pool cleaner (the thin one with glasses who doesn't speak English) sits on the floor and poaches the sauna and steam room after 9 (despite advertised closing time of 10) to close it earlier and earlier, so occupants play tag team swapping places whilst one goes in pool then back to the sauna in order to benefit from the membership hours they've paid for.Gym uostairs and equipment is very good, but management of pool area in particular is an unmitigated disaster. There always seems to be one or 2 things not working: the steam room, jacuzzi, sauna, showers not working, too much chlorine in the pool. This is on top of cleaners pushing floor disinfectant, with goodness knows what additives, in to the pool whilst members are still swimming in it... It really stings the eyes - another member mentioned this to me.Please remove the 4 lanes and go back to 2 also. Also the lights you closed the pool a week to install - when there were other things to fix - simply make it too bright. They could really take a few leaves from the management book of Park Club Milton by Abingdon - which is truly excellent and 5 stars.
Great facilities, Marc who works there is also a credit to the company.
Excellent equipment, no queues for treadmills and cross trainers, even at busy times, inexpensive, large pool, great for little ones, very friendly staff, reliable opening times. Could still be more diligent with filling the soap dispensers, toilet roll and paper towels, but a huge improvement since taking over from DW. Also masses of parking. My message to the gym, if I could only leave one, would be to keep that air-conditioning working, particularly during the summer. Working out in a cloud of your own evaporated perspiration makes it so much harder and more unpleasant. If youre worried about getting skin diseases from touching machinery, perhaps you could bring some wipes, use the paper towelling provided, or see a psychiatrist.
Very good gym for the price you pay. Fantastic instructors and PTs
