It felt like an under construction holiday resort. The MRI centre is weirdly designed, in the wrong place and the scanner is in trailer in a the car park! The MRI staff were friendly enough but the scanner was cramped and very very noisy. I had to lie like an Egyptian mummy stuffed into a narrow tube for 25 mins just for a head scan Very disappointing and unpleasant experience.

I broke my ankle at the weekend and on Sunday was sent to the trauma ward to have it set in plaster. I was having a panic about the whole thing because I suffer from awful anxiety but the dude who did the procedure, I believe his name was Mike? Was a sound bloke. He made me feel really comfortable and did a great job even though I was hyperventilating and puking and making a fool of myself. Thanks, possibly Mike!

I would like to thank surgeon Bruce George. He operated on me 18 years ago this month for bowel cancer and although I refused any follow up treatment, I am alive and well all these years later. Thank you so much. Christine Taylor

Ive just returned from having an operation to remove my appendix. All of the staff; from the nurses, the surgeons and the doctors could not have been kinder, more reassuring and patient with me. A huge thank you to everyone for making my stay as comfortable as possible, especially those on ward 6E. Keep up th good work!

I had a minor operation at the John radcliffe in September. I felt very welcome and not nervous at all. The staff were fantastic and made me feel at ease. The ladies in the recovery ward were absolutely fantastic and very attentive as so was the transfer lounge. I had a fantastic experience under the circumstances and I cannot thank you all enough.
