I love the cinema, the atmosphere is so calm and serene. Nobody is too rowdy whilst watching the film. My only problem is that the adverts take way too long. They take about 20 minutes until you actually get to see the movie, wastes too much time to be honest. But still, a great cinema.
Took my mother for her birthday to see the film Colette. The staff at Vue Cinema were very helpful and polite and the atmosphere within the cinema was tranquil and you felt at ease. We had a most enjoyable afternoon watching a wonderful film taking my mum back to the time she lived in France and recollecting memories of seeing a poster in France announcing Colette's death.
So cheap! Unfortunately my Immersion was affected by hearing a few explosions from a neighbouring screen during quiet parts. Otherwise great... Nice big screen etc.
12 screen cinema with ample seating. Big car park as it shares the area with some restaurants, bowling place and football ground (Oxford United). Currently doing 5 tickets which is fantastic. Never seems to get too busy.
Its a good cinema. Very good price (4.99 for a film any time any day). However, the queue tends to be very slow moving. Other than that its a good cinema. Friendly staff. Great quality screens. And you can ask the staff at till to show you seating plan, allowing you to pick seats.
