Absolutely amazing service. After my front wheel was wrecked from being hit by a car, Chris came to pick up my bike with his van, fixed it promptly, charged me a really reasonable price, and even dropped it off for me.
Amazing service at fair prices. I even had a custom job that required welding bars to my racks for pannier bags done within the day with amazing quality - it really looks like the rack was built that way in the first place and done for a good price. Especially Jan is a very talented and skilled expert and probably the only bike mechanic in Oxford who will (electrically) weld to repair/upgrade/alter your bicycle and I would trust him with my most precious bikes any time. Very friendly service and good bike rental services, too, which I have now used multiple times, never with issues and decent bikes. After sampling a few stores in Oxford, Cyclo Analysts is my favourite by far.
Bought a bicycle here for 280 and after cycling it for a few weeks I can't say it was worth the money. Handlebars constantly need tightening up no matter how tight you make them, cpuld be dangerous if you're not keeping a keen eye on it. They didn't have so many bicycles for sale so I would've thought they'd have good quality control. Bicycle does seem otherwise fine, I'm cycling it many miles every day, but a pretty major flaw.They let me take it for a quick test ride. The service was really good and professional so I assume they were unaware of the issue with this model.
I visited the shop after the axle and (skewer) of my rear wheel has broken. They said that replacing it would cost 15-20. I found the price great and left my wheel there for them to fix it. However, when coming back the next day to get it, they asked 31 pounds, claiming that 15 was only the cost of the materials. Although 31 is not too much, I am annoyed that they didn't state this from the start, especially since I repeatedly asked about the total price.
