Lovely food and atmosphere, brilliant gluten free and other dietary options. A full, excellent menu. Would highly recommend
UPDATE: Not sure why the response is that Ive posted my review for the incorrect business. This is a review for the Organic Deli cafe on friars entry. Nice try. You asked for a more detailed review and you got it. Review: I used to come here all the time with friends and family as they were able to accommodate for my vegan diet. One day I went in for the soup of the day and was reassured by the owners son that the soup was vegan. I thought it tasted a little sour (as if it had milk in it) but figured, well, the owners son isnt going to be wrong. A few days later I popped back and the soup of the day had changed so, once again, I checked if it was suitable for my diet. The waitress wasnt sure and checked with the kitchen. The response: all of our soups contain cream and are never vegan. My oh my. The icing on the cake? The owners son overheard, shrugged, and said, Oh. Sorry from the family. And then walked off. I was wildly disappointed and actually quite hurt. I havent been back since. Nor have my friends and family as they understood how hurt I was by the palaver. We used to go at least a few times a week. Oh well.
Not for me. Place was quite nice and quaint but food was atrocious. I asked for poached eggs and got badly boiled ones. The table was rocky, music was too loud for breakfast. The saving grace was that the service was good but you can't eat a smile. We spent around 50 on breakfast and we very disappointed.
Love these guys. Love the espresso drinks and the new lemon cake. Excellent service, especially from Sam.
Trevor and the team couldnt have been more helpful if they tried. 26 hungry cyclists descended on the deli on the hottest day. 26 preordered online meals delivered swiftly, faultlessly and testily, 26 Bikes safely stored and parked and all in air conditioned bliss. Looking forward to visiting again :)
