I was pleasantly surprised with this cafe. The food was high quality, great fresh pressed oj, & wonderful music and decor. An ideal study spot.
Fabulous Halal Homemade Food! Tasty & delicious. Big portions. The tea as well is very good. The ambience is cozy & friendly. Music is old and beautiful. Toilets are clean. So... 5 stars.

A small slice of history onlooking the streets of Oxford, is it worth 4 a coffee though? I'd definitely recommend it once to give it a try but I wouldn't be hurrying back there. It is pretty cramped and doesn't quite cope with the pace of trade demanded to it but who doesn't want a coffee in allegedly the oldest coffee shop in Europe?
My wife and I stopped in for some tea, coffee and food. The wait staff was on it, we were greeted and sat promptly at the door, drinks were taken and gathered immediately and we werent kept waiting to order food either. We had the chicken shepherds pie with potatoes. A very heavy and tasty meal. Also great view of one of the central areas of Oxford.
