The employees on reception were very polite and happy. The room was good size and the bed was comfy. I got one of the last rooms and there was a loud humming constantly which was very annoying and the bathroom had a lots of black mould stains on the ceilings and the tile grout.
Only stayed the 1 night, very friendly and very clean as you would expect, major extension being built so busy car park in the morning, it was also very icy and no salt had been put down so it was a bit lime an ice rink in parts. Food and drink in the beefeater was spot on. Would definitely stay again
When lying on the bed I found the pillow was soaking wet. The staff then replaced the pillow. However later that evening when getting into bed I was horrified to find that the whole bed was wet. With urine. The sheets had not been changed. We then had to change rooms. In the morning when complaining the lady behind the desk suggested it was us that wet the bed. We felt like the accused not the victim. She spoilt our breakfast and on return we were met by the manager who was very apologetic.
My girlfriends long awaited first stay, she wasnt disappointed. Helpful staff made our check in/out speedy and efficient. Room was exceptionally clean and the bed was very comfortable. Short walk to the bus stop.
The room was quiet, the bed comfortable, that bathroom clean. The staff were welcoming and agreeable. The only downside for me is that the pillows are flat and inadequate.
