Day receptionist was excellent, slightly concerning not even our name was checked when collecting the key when getting back from a day out by the evening receptionist. Fruit in room was a nice touch. Road and street outside very noisy, not for light sleepers.

The location of this hotel is very handy for Oxford city centre and the train station. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room itself was ok. The decor is a bit dated and basic but we it was comfortable and we slept well. We didnt hear much noise from the bars and clubs nearby and we stayed on a Saturday night. I do think the price is quite high for the standard of room compared to other hotels I have stayed in.
