Staff on reception couldn't careless , room was ok , bathroom wasn't very good. I had to pay for parking, ridiculous ! !

This Travelodge is very convenient for the attractions in and around Oxford. It is a large hotel, over 300 rooms. Our room was large and well equipped. Possibly a little dated.

Nice rooms but ridiculous you have to pay for parking! Shouldn't expect to pay for parking when you're staying at a hotel. Cost 8 for a day and a half.Edit: After staying here last night... the rooms look nice but the pillows were lumpy and so uncomfortable. Floor is clearly made of thin wood as you can hear the person above you so loudly. Didn't get a good night sleep. Shower this morning was also border line cold and there was no hair dryer!Not what you expect paying 80 for one night. Unfortunately won't be staying at a travel lodge again.Positives: staff helpful and friendly.

As ever, a warm, comfortable room, likewise the large bed, bedding seems to be changed daily of my 2 night stay. Tea / coffee making facilities, flat screen TV, good shower over bath with plenty of hot water and towels. Convenient for days in Oxford (3 miles from the centre of town) an enjoyable walk, or cycle, either down the Woodstock road, or go to the Oxford canal and use the tow path to the centre, not far from the rail station.

Overall a pleasant stay, it would have been 5 stars if there were a kitchen serving fresh good on site. The staff were very helpful, friendly and approachable. I was also able to bring my dog which was a great advantage.
