Very hard to understand. It was a struggle with the cashier today as I had a hard time understanding what he was saying. His pronunciation was very, very weak and I had to ask him to repeat himself multiple times. Only come to this post office if you urgently need to post something on a Sunday. If not, use google maps and find another one in town. There are a few.
Avoid. I have used this PO several times in recent months and my experiences range from being ignored by members of staff to being charged for services that I expressly did not ask for. Yesterday the person serving repeatedly tried to charge me for the most expensive service for one parcel, despite me being clear that it was to go 2nd class. The next small item was to go ordinary 1st class but he slapped on a tracked/signature label on said I had to pay three times more than the service I had asked for. Go somewhere else if you can, the one on Abingdon Road is much more professional and friendly.
Latest collection times:Monday to Friday: 17:00 PMSaturday: 11:50 AMMail presented after these times will be collected the following working day. I respect the guys at this post office, and we get along very well. Fast service every time I drop off a pre-paid parcel.
If being treated like a criminal when you come to pick up a package, then this place is for you. If being directed to stand at an unmanned till when you finally get to the head of the queue for the only manned till is the exercise you enjoy, come here. If rude refusal to sign for deposited packages for collection turns you on, here's your place. Otherwise: use somewhere else that believes in customer service! (based on 4 visits)
