oxford. very friendly staff. nice showroom and cars. the only problem is i am still waiting on my vehicle log book but it could be dvla thats taking its time. but overall experience very good, very helpful.
Visited the car showroom this afternoon enquiring about the top range Peugeot 3008 SUV. Saw one in the showroom (black) sat in it and had a look round. Within minutes we were asked to get out as it had been sold. NO SOLD sticker on it, presumed it was a showroom model.My husband went over to the far side and spoke to, who we now know as Jack.....husband explained that we were looking at the top range 3008 SUV, Jack very kindly printed out information for us and we were discussing options etc when a very IGNORANT male came over and told Jack that a lady was waiting to speak to him......surely if this lady had been in the showroom and then gone out, then she could have waited whilst we finished...... the IGNORANT male, and thats the only way to describe him, told Jack to hand us over to another sales person.......With that I mentioned ......not allowed to sit in cars, not allowed to discuss options and possibility of arranging a test drive etc.......AND I WALKED OUT.NEVER IN ALL MY YEARS IN SALES would I even think of intruding on a colleague and telling him/her to go and see a previous customer.....SORRY BRISTOL STREET MOTORS/PEUGEOT, but you have missed out on a CASH BUYER and a sale of your top range 3008 SUV.I had to give you a one star only due to the fact it would let me go any further. You dont even deserve one star.A very grieved possible customer.
Excellent Sales Service , but Parts Dept needs sorting.Having visited 4 other dealerships on that day , not knowing exactly what I wanted , I was getting frustrated at the lack of cars available to match my wishes. After visiting Kia , I was just about to drive home when I remembered the Peugeot dealership just down the road. What a difference ! I suddenly found myself looking at a selection of 3008's so I was able to juggle mileage and price to find a car that exactly matched my expectations . My thanks to Jack and Chas for sorting me out with exactly what I wanted Having said that, my experience with the Parts Dept was a big downer. I ordered some mats and was told they would be in at 11.00 the next day. I tried to phone to check on their arrival but the phone just rang and rang. Having been assured they would be there , I drove to the dealership only to be told they were not there. I told one of the After Sales guys of my phone experience and he said that if I had the same problem again, I should ask to be put through to After Sales.So, the next day I phoned again with no response from Parts. So I asked the call handler to put me through to After Sales. I was told by the call handler that she was not allowed to do that despite their previous assurances. So I had to again drive there not knowing if my goods were in. Thankfully they were but I think your excellent sales service was tarnished by a lack of communication when trying to speak to Parts
Fantastic experience today from start to finish. Leanne McHugh was fantastic throughout, which is impressive as she has only been there for 1 month. Given the freedom to look around the car of choice and respected my wish to try a rival car before I commit. All in all a great place to buy a car from.
Main Peugeot dealership in Oxford. The site has been redeveloped over the years so that it now has decent off-road parking. Servicing is good. I especially like the video survey of your car that the technician records & emails to you while the work is going on so you know what they've found. Courtesy cars need to be booked a couple of weeks ahead in my experience.
